Chapter 1347

---

They both enjoyed a peaceful night’s rest.
The next morning, Lucinda headed downstairs and eagerly opened the package.
Inside, she discovered a selection of specialty products from Tuborg.
They were thoughtfully chosen and suitable for pregnant women. Kyson had sent them to her, wanting her to savor the flavors.
Among the items, there was a letter. She unfolded it and attentively read its contents.
Meanwhile, Nathan descended the stairs, slowly making his way down while holding onto the railing. From a distance, he observed Lucinda engrossed in reading the letter.
“What did he write to you?” he asked, his tone tinged with anger.
“He mentioned that Tuborg is a rather underdeveloped country, and he became a teacher there, leading a fulfilling and contented life. He also mentioned that he might not be able to come back to celebrate the birth of our babies, but he assured me that he would send his gift,” Lucinda explained.
“That’s it?” Nathan asked skeptically.
“Yeah, that’s all,” she replied.
Nathan remained unconvinced.

“Didn’t he mention how much he missed you and how you often appeared in his dreams?”

Lucinda neatly folded the letter and clarified, “No, he knows what he should and should not do.”
Reluctantly, Nathan accepted her explanation and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for her.
Meanwhile, Lucinda took the time to compose a reply to Kyson, informing him about her upcoming marriage. She also packed some food as a gift for him, and then told Rickey to send it back to Kyson.
After they had breakfast, Nathan and Lucinda made their way to Graham’s villa to discuss their wedding plans.
They decided to hold the wedding in a month’s time.
Nathan took the lead in overseeing the preparations, promising to set aside his work and focus on creating the most memorable wedding experience for Lucinda.
This allowed her to conserve her energy and concentrate on her career.
Lucinda found herself increasingly engrossed in work. Besides occasional bouts of morning sickness and fatigue, she remained in good health.
The spring came.
One morning, after breakfast, Lucinda headed to the hallway to put on her shoes while multitasking, responding to messages on her phone.
Nathan lazily wrapped his arms around her from behind and rested his chin on her shoulder with a hint of discontent in his eyes.
“Baby, you’ve been so busy lately.” She hadn’t had the chance to spend a lot of time with him lately, which made him feel like a husband longing for his wife to come home every day.
